Gleeson Recruitment Group are working exclusively in partnership with a well-known multi-site B2C brand in Staffordshire, who are looking to recruit an FP&A Manager in a newly created role. This business has gone from strength to strength in recent times, with a number of senior appointments in the Finance team and significant investment.

You will be required to understand and provide useful and meaningful analysis across the wider group, reviewing financial plans and providing challenge on performance. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, with excellent exposure to the CEO and CFO, providing them with financial support on a regular basis.

Key responsibilities for the FP&A Manager role:

  • Reviewing, understanding and challenging weekly trading and financial updates across the group
  • Providing financial guidance to enable robust rolling P&L forecasting
  • Reviewing and ensuring the FP&A timetable is issued timely
  • Managing a FP&A Analyst
  • Updating and managing the 5YP consolidation model
  • Liaising with stakeholders across the group to ensure successful consolidation of 5 year budget plans, major forecasts and budgets
  • Responsibility for periodic cashflow and writing cashflow commentary on internal reports
  • Reviewing and analysing business plans, annual budgets and major forecasts

Key requirements for the FP&A Manager role:

  • Qualified Accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Advanced excel skills
  • A proven ability to assimilate, understand and provide insight on key financial information
  • Commercial experience within a retail, manufacturing or hospitality environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven experience of partnering with and supporting senior stakeholders
