I am working exclusively to recruit an FP&A Manager to work closely with a highly talented CFO for a very profitable service business based in Staffordshire. The business are gearing up for growth through Q4 of this year and beyond so there couldn't be a better time to join.

This role will improve the quality of the forecasting and management information and will report directly to the CFO. This is a newly created role and will take on a senior position within the finance team. You will work closely with operational managers to understand, analyse and model business growth and evaluate areas for improvement across all geographies in which the business operates.

The role of FP&A Manager is seen as a key development position within the Group and will suit someone who is looking for a real "value add" role where you will see the impact of what you do in both the short and long term.

The Company

The successful FP&A Manager will be working for a highly profitable business who operate globally with a T/O of approx. £300 million. The successful candidate will have a proactive nature and the ability to engage credibly at senior level.

The Role
As the FP&A Manager you will undertake the following:

Planning & Forecasting - establish and embed new process for producing regular rolling reforecasts through the year to support Product, Marketing and Operations teams in their budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.

Business Partnering - implement structures to provide information to and challenge managers' performance, and improve decision support.

ERP Implementation - drive delivery of new multi-dimensional budgeting and planning tools, co-ordinating support from IT team and third party consultants.

Capex - finance lead for building and reviewing capex project business cases, working with and challenging key stakeholders across the business to maximise returns on investments.

Reporting - Re engineer and deliver high quality Board Packs liaising with the business to consolidate the key messages for the monthly board meeting.

Finance Transformation - Support the Group Financial Controller in delivering the Finance Transformation project, removing inefficiencies and accelerating processes.

The Candidate
As the successful FP&A Manager you will be / have:

  • A qualified accountant with approx. 5 years PQE
  • The ability to produce and communicate reporting to a wide audience
  • Strong excel skills and ERP systems exposure
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to challenge the status quo
