Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Accountant to join their finance team. As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective communication of financial information to both internal and external stakeholders.

- Prepare financial statements, reports, and disclosures in compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, etc.)
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather and analyse financial data for reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with auditors during the external audit process.
- Participate in the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and processes.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Reporting Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
