Gleeson Recruitment Group are proud to support a large PLC manufacturing business in the search for a Financial Planning and Control Manager on a 6 month fixed-term contract. The role will be to ensure the coordination of financial planning, governance, and management reporting processes across the region before sharing with the Group. As the Financial Planning and Control Manager you will be looking after monthly management, half yearly and yearly reporting, and planning and forecasting processes, ensuring clear and consistent measurement of results.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing and developing the monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring that significant variances are tracked and understood
  • Managing the corporate plan and budget processes, performing the co-ordination and overall consolidation of the budget
  • Controlling the Regional Function's actual costs, updating the monthly forecasts as appropriate and setting the annual budgets
  • Acting as a point of contact for technical queries from the finance teams across the region

My client is looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with experience in large PLC's. They would also like someone with sound knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.

This role is 100% remote with ad hoc team meetings so only candidates who can get to Birmingham easily. They are looking for candidates who can start immediately.
