Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a high-growth Technology Group in Wolverhampton who are looking to appoint a new Financial Controller for one of their businesses.

This business has grown significantly in recent times. The wider group turn over £250 million and the business unit this role sits within is turning over c.£60 million, but with plans afoot to exceed £100 million by 2027, primarily through acquisition.

As Financial Controller, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance and managing 2 Management Accountants as well as the relevant Credit Control team for your subsidiary.

It's the perfect opportunity for a Finance Manager or Management Accountant looking to step up into their first Financial Controller position. Day to day responsibilities include:

Delivering all reporting information including month end reporting to Group
Supporting the Head of Finance with improvement of Finance System
Assisting Commercial Finance with KPI's for Operational Manager
Update and improve detailed revenue reporting
Managing Credit Control performance as well as queries/ difficult relationships
Sales and cash reporting
Variance Analysis

To apply you must be (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) qualified. Management experience is preferred but not essential. Instead, experience in producing a full set of Management Accounts and working with Operational Managers will hold you in good stead.

Future progression opportunities to Group and "Head of" positions will be available.

Salary is £60,000 with hybrid working.
