Gleeson Finance are working with this SME business in Banbury, to recruit a Financial Controller. Reporting into the CFO, you will maintain responsibility for areas including; accounting and treasury functions, business plans, budgets & forecasts and cash flow. This business is ambitious with a clear vision. We are seeking a candidate who is adaptable to change, and thrives in a growing business.
As the Financial Controller, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of records that are presented on a timely basis as required by the Group Board, Divisional Board, and for Management guidance of operating units. You will be responsible for reviewing and implementing internal controls and managing the month, half-year, and year-end financial accounting and reporting processes.
You will have an analytical mind, producing appropriate forecasts of future financial position and budget requirements, preparing cash flow and other financial reports for Management. A key part of this role is developing accounting procedures and advising the Management of recommends solutions. The successful candidate will establish and deliver group reporting, and have proven hands on experience, ideally within the SME sector.
In order to be considered, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and ideally have had experience of a listed company, either in industry or audit. You will be technically strong with a well-rounded analytical mind.
In return, you will receive a salary of £45,000, plus benefits including potential future agile working.
