The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations and ensuring that all accounting processes are executed efficiently and accurately. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organisation, and work in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Benefits:

Salary up to £45,000
Hybrid - 3 days in
4.5 day working week

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Prepare and review financial statements and reports
Manage and reconcile all balance sheet accounts
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions

Qualifications and Experience:

Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with accounting software, such as SAP, Oracle or similar
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
