My client is a global and award-winning, listed Tech/Telecoms business based in central Birmingham.

Description

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Financial planning, budgeting & forecasting with the departments, being their 'go-to' contact within the Finance department
• Use insights and analysis to advise on decisions to reduce cost, and increase profit and revenue,
• Challenges and supports functional leaders to improve performance and proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities
• Prepare monthly management accounts, associated reconciliations and entity reporting packs for all allocated entities,
• Maintain fixed asset and lease registers,
• Responsible for statutory reporting & compliance (liaising directly with auditors & management of the audit process) for allocated entities,
• Approval of all entity costs and payments

Profile

The successful Financial Accountant will have the following credentials:

• Professional finance qualification - either ACA/ACCA or CIMA
• Approximately 0-2 years PQE
• Experience auditing/reporting to both FRS 102 and IFRS
• Experience within the technology & telecoms industry desirable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
