Gleeson finance are delighted to be working in partnership with this well-known corporate client, based in Warwick, to recruit a Financial Accountant. Reporting into the Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting, this role will be responsible for controlling areas within the financial accounting function; which includes liaising with sites, preparing monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, and ensuring group policies are updated and adhered to for the relevant areas.

Key a include, the management and development of designated areas of financial accounting, ensuring tasks critical to these areas are covered daily, weekly, quarterly and on an ad hoc basis as required, and that any relevant reports are produced. You will own and develop group policies for the relevant areas, and ensure these are adhered to, including any relevant SOX controls.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), with an excellent technical knowledge of accounts, high level of accuracy, and ideally experience of SoX controls. You will have the ability to analyse data, spot anomalies, challenge and question transactions, with an advanced level of Excel.
