Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting an established multi-site hospitality brand based in Warwick, looking to add a Finance Team Leader into their Operational Finance Team. This role is based out of the Warwick office, 5 days per week with a salary of up to £30,000 PA + the opportunity to develop your management skills.

The successful Finance Team Leader will be organised and methodical, willing to encourage a developing team of Finance Clerks to ensure paperwork is processed accurately. Excellent time management and a knowledge of double entry bookkeeping is crucial for this position; you and your team will be responsible for the core collation of finance paperwork for the wider team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly preparation and review of individual unit contracts
  • Monthly preparation of trading account results to send onto management
  • Supervision of Accounts Assistants, ensuring accurate processing of invoices
  • Ensuring all paperwork is processed and sent onto senior management within reporting deadlines
  • To assist Operations Managers in the monthly monitoring of income
  • Assist senior management in budgets and forecasts and to promote a focus on increasing profitability
  • Challenge current practices and focus on process improvements
  • Day to day administration of postings to the nominal ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of the multiple units
  • Ensure the job costing system is kept up to date through accurate recording of data
  • Maintain an effective and organised filing system
  • Site visits to assist with the internal audit

Management or Team Leader experience isn't vital, just a passion for developing finance juniors into superstar bookkeepers! The successful candidate must be proficient in Excel, with Vlookups and Pivot Tables as a minimum.
