As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring that financial reports are accurate and timely.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to the executive team for strategic decision-making
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process and provide guidance to department managers on budget development and tracking
  • Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships to optimise liquidity and interest income
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience in a finance management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
