Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a multinational, listed company in hiring their new Operations Finance Manager to work with the manufacturing side of the business in delivering analysis and insight in order to challenge the business on continuous improvement.

About the role

  • Support Operations FBP and the wider team across 4 manufacturing sites
  • Analyse where the business can create value
  • Improving operational performance using data and insights to drive cost, productivity and waste efficiencies
  • Site level analysis and reporting to understand the performance of specific assets
  • Month end, P&L, forecasting, budgeting
  • Manage cost modelling process and ensure all data is accurately inputted
  • Preparation of investment activity programmes, producing financials to support projects
  • Post investment appraisals
  • Provide insights to understand drivers of conversion costs

Location

  • Hybrid working 2/3 days WFH
  • Main site is Hinckley with occasional travel to other sites when necessary

About you

  • Degree in a relevant discipline as well as a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • 1+ years' Financial Analysis experience
  • A strong understanding of financial management and reporting, financial controls and processes, implementation and governance
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, innovative, confident, able to influence business stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment (preferably manufacturing), able to adapt to change and to make quick decisions
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel)
