This is a high-profile Senior Finance Director role which will be critical to ensuring the on-going growth of this division. Partnering with the MD you will form part of the executive team, to deliver strategies for the establishment of long-term revenue plans and corporate performance.
You will be expected to improve the understanding of financial reporting and its impact on business performance, providing analysis and delivering insight to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial rigour and control.
Other Key Responsibilities -
- Provide key finance support to the Divisional MD and the rest of the business leadership team
- Drive continuous improvements and innovation that are aligned to Company, Divisional & Business strategy
- Ownership and preparation of monthly business financial forecast, with insight around any deviation from plan and the action plan to deliver the forecast
- Provision of finance expertise to support growth through market knowledge and insights
- Key finance support in bids
- Responsible for reporting on Legal Entities
- Continue the development of a high performing finance team
This Finance Director (FD) opportunity requires a well-rounded commercially focused finance leader, with multi-role, Divisional FD experience. Prior FTSE experience is highly desirable. Must also be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). Previous experience of working in a B2B contracts business is essential.
You must demonstrate the ability to bring high levels of commerciality to the team and have driven leadership skills and a talent for business partnering, ensuring business growth is delivered.
Extensive skills in contract renegotiation, and experience of client-side discussions related to contractual shaping will be important. Must also have a track record in driving operational bottom-line value.
The role requires a strong relationship builder with personal credibility, and high impact communication and presentation skills, who can work at all levels and to influence wider business direction and decisions.
A hybrid working pattern will be considered. Flexibility to work from home and with some national travel.
