Gleeson Recruitment Group is working alongside a multinational logistics business to find a new Finance Business Partner. You'll work within a specific sector of the business and look after a contract worth around £20m. The business has gone from strength to strength and with that, brings opportunity to grow within the business. This is a great opportunity for someone to step into a truly consultative business partner position and needs someone who is able to manage a large client and their expectations. It will be a fast paced role, with lots of opportunity to upskill and you'll be able to make your mark on a growing team.

Day to day you will manage the finance team looking after a specific client with half of your time spent acting as a true Business Partner and the other half spent reporting and analysing results. As part of this, you will:

• Weekly and monthly reporting to the client
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Liaising directly with the client to manage expectations and set time frames
• Internal reporting on a monthly basis
• Maintain tight cost control for the client and internally
• Create, review and present both client and internal reports

You'll also need to form strong relationships with both internal and client stakeholders and act as a true Business Partner on their needs. To do this, you will have regular interaction with the team, present findings directly to the client and be a part of the on-site operations team. This will require you to be predominantly based on site.

The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:

• Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar
• Post qualification experience in a logistics setting is highly advantageous
• Ability to work on-site 4 days per week
• Strong initiative and a willingness to go above and beyond
• Expert at time management and prioritisation
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment and deliver results
• Previous line management experience is a big advantage

The package:

• £50,000 - £60,000 base salary dependent on experience
• Car allowance
• Opportunity to achieve a bonus
