Gleeson Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a large manufacturing business in Cannock to search for an extra head in the Finance Business Partnering team. This business is going from strength to strength and under new leadership has plans for significant growth. You'll join a team of Business Partners who all have strong stakeholder management skills across the board.

The Role:

  • Work closely with the Pricing and Sales team to deliver commercial advice on bids and tenders
  • Build strong relationships across the business and develop financial understanding of non-finance team members
  • Provide insight and support to develop stakeholder's understanding of their P&L management
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Identify and assess commercial opportunities and risks
  • Support strategic projects including the implementation of a new ERP system
  • Support with production, consolidation and review of the annual budget and regular forecasts
  • Continue to evolve and enhance our existing suite of reports and automate where possible
  • Assist in embedding a culture of forward-looking analysis through a multi-year rolling forecast
  • Support in monthly/quarterly review meetings as necessary
  • Provide additional commercial support where necessary

The person:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar
  • 5+ years work experience in finance
  • Strong communication skills to explain finance to non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Power BI knowledge an advantage but not necessary
  • Strong initiative with an accurate and diligent work ethic
  • Ability to write and present reports to the wider business
