Gleeson finance are delighted to be working with this established SME in Rugby, to recruit a Finance Business Partner. Reporting in to the Financial Controller, you will support the operational team to deliver targets and budgets, providing analysis and proposed business solutions that drive strategy in leadership meetings. You will review internal and external factors to provide information, insight and tools to take the business forward, maintaining and harnessing internal relationships.

Key duties include business partnering for key functional stakeholders, including P&L support with key business decisions on pricing, operating costs and profitability. The focus of the role is to provide overall financial insights into business drivers in order to deliver and develop the site's strategic objectives and annual budget. You will be accountable for partnering with the Senior Management Team to ensure the finance processes reflect accurate and timely financial reporting. You will also be involved in the preparation of month end commentary, supporting the business stakeholders to ensure the correct finance processes are adopted.

Responsibility also lies in investigating trends with stakeholder groups and implementing mid to short term plans to maximise performance, supporting stakeholders with financial modelling to drive business decisions. You will be accountable for the financial analysis of key business drivers, using sound business acumen to assess new ideas, both from an operational and financial perspective.

In order to be considered, you will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA), with proven and demonstrable business partnering experience, with good analytical ability and attention to detail. You will have proven experience of presenting plans to support business decisions to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, and ideally have experience in a manufacturing organisation with a continuous improvement agenda. Occasional travel is required in the UK (Midlands) and in Europe.

In return, you will receive a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits, and the opportunity for continued development with this growing business.
