Executive Assistant to CEO

Gleeson Recruitment have an outstanding opportunity available for a superstar Executive Assistant to support a CEO based in Birmingham City Centre. Our client is a leading global business in their industry and we are delighted to be working on this role exclusively.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Assistant who has had previous EA experience within a fast paced environment and has directly supported a CEO of a business.

The Role

• Organisation of the CEO's diary for both internal and external meetings
• Arranging travel within the UK, Europe and the US
• Working closely with the CEO and the Exec Team at all times
• Preparing materials for all meetings and projects; research, agendas, presentations
• Prepare communications on the CEO's behalf ensuring an appropriate level of professionalism to reflect the character and brand of the CEO and their communication style.
• Taking ownership of the CEO's inbox and responding
• Handle all administrative tasks to keep an executive's day moving smoothly and efficiently
• Access CEO's emails and prioritise messages and respond on their behalf when possible

Ideal Candidate

• Proven track record as an Executive Assistant within a professional services environment
• Experience working within in a fast paced environment
• Exceptional time keeping and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Professional and ability to build relationships
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
