Are you a skilled events professional looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client, a public sector organisation is currently seeking an Events Executive to support the Senior Events Manager in planning, delivering, and evaluating a range of events for all departments.

As an Events Executive, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of events, from one-off bespoke events to conferences, dinners, and sales missions, both domestically and internationally. You will engage with a wide network of stakeholders, including government departments, private sector partners, universities, and local authorities.

Responsibilities for this role include planning and executing virtual, hybrid, and in-person events, working closely with the marketing team to develop eye-catching event collateral, securing speakers and content, managing delegate journeys, and liaising with venues and suppliers. You will also attend and work at events outside of business hours as required and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a professional qualification or relevant degree, at least two years of event experience, and evidence of continuous professional development. You should have a proactive mindset and be able to work calmly and methodically in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills are also essential, along with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
