Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a multimillion-pound organisation based in Dudley who, through organic growth are looking for a Financial Accountant to help build a European Accounting Team.

As European Financial Accountant, you will be reporting the Financial Controller and will be looking after the reporting of the European business to senior leadership, whilst aiding the business expand into new markets abroad.

This is a technical role suited for practice movers, or those with a Financial Accounting background from industry. ACA/ACCA Qualified is preferred although finalists will also be considered.

European Financial Accountant duties:

• Provide monthly reporting for European businesses within the Group
• Undertaking local consolidations into UK GAAP for reporting both at a group and territory level
• Quarterly management accounts of UK holding company for
• Assistance in the preparation of European data for presentation in the Group management accounts and biannual board reports.
• Completing year end procedures with statutory reporting
• Completion of quarterly consolidation of French base data into a UK GAAP
• Assistance in the preparation of European data for presentation in the Group Management Accounts

This is a chance to be first into a brand-new team in a fast-expanding business. There will be multiple avenues to progression internally in the future across a Dudley finance team circa 60 people.
