If your answer is "yes" then we may just have the opportunity for you as we support a well-know leading pub operator as they look to hire an Estates Manager into their large and established property team.

As an integral part of our clients' business, the Estates Manager will play a key role at the heart of their leased business model managing a key income stream for the group via the rent-roll in managing all scheduled rent reviews and agreement expires within the Southern region. The Estates Manager will be required to work closely with operations, as well as additional field support teams, to drive income and explore opportunities for growth through investment, development and potential acquisition work.

As Estates Manager you will primarily be responsible for managing the rent events and impact on rent roll of a regional pub portfolio as well as wider estate management matters. Rent responsibility will include completion of all inspections, valuations, negotiations and settlement of rent reviews and lease renewals acting as both landlord and tenant. The Estates Manager will also be involved with rental valuation work for new lets and proposed investments, handling any dispute resolution cases as well as opportunities to lead wider teams in regard to Landlord & Tenant (L&T) advice, developments, Pubs Code and general estate management.

As the successful Estates Manager covering the South of the UK you are likely to live in the South East quadrant of the country and be willing to travel this area while being based from home. You are also likely to have pub sector experience and if not, some knowledge of the Pub Code along with MRICS or working towards MRICS status.
