The role is pivotal to the success of the plant and is responsible for optimising factory performance and efficiency, ensuring that process flow, manufacturing methods, tooling fixtures and equipment utilisation are cost competitive and sustainable in order to produce best in class engineered solutions for demanding customer specifications.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Engineering Manager will lead a strong and capable team of engineers and process experts to deliver against customer and business targets and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation in order to ensure that organisational objectives are converted into meaningful business plans.
The role will focus around the people and the processes and will be the leader of change and continuous improvement across all three business units in order to deliver a robust engineering strategy for the organization. You will be part of an ongoing success story with huge growth flowing into the site and will be heavily involved in the acquisition, installation and management of large scale CAPEX to meet the demands of the work flow.
The Engineering Manager will be a proven senior engineer with some team and project leadership and will be well versed in NPI and NPD activity and able to mentor and lead engineers towards a common goal. You will be a strong character who can challenge where required and stand your ground in the leadership team discussions and with customers when needed. You will be a doer and driven to succeed in an organization where career growth is a clear option for such an individual.
