Gleeson Engineering are currently in partnership with a global organisation who are currently looking to hire a Electrical Controls Maintenance Engineer. Working closely within an extremely experienced maintenance department you will be working on a variety of electronic control equipment across the site. This will vary from control panels, temperature control and inverter drives.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Installation, repair and maintenance of electronic control modules for extrusion, forge pressing, ultrasonic testing equipment.
- Reading and interpreting drawings through circuit diagrams.
- Provide the answers for the Engineering, Production and Technical departments when diagnosing circuit faults.
The business currently operates 24/7 and this role will be expected to work shifts either 3 shifts of mornings, afternoons and nights or 4x4 continentals. Depending on what shift is accepted there will be an additional shift allowance added to your remuneration package ranging from £3k-£9k with plenty of overtime available. In return for your experience you will receive a base salary ranging from £33k-£38k DOE.
