Are you a motivated and driven commercial sales leader who can not only deliver against a demanding but achievable revenue target but who can also lead and drive a large dedicated team of new business sales and key account managers on an international basis?

This is not your regular sales and commercial leadership role as you will be required to undertake regular travel to meet with and develop a dedicated and niche European client base who expect the highest level of service, products and support to meet their expectations.

This business produces leading bespoke interior components for some of the most elite customers worldwide who pay a premium for the highest level of quality and craftsmanship available in this market sector and do not expect to compromise at any point so relationship building, trust and delivery against expectation are the expectation.

You must be able to travel on a regular basis as face to face meetings are a must within this client base and this will include travel to multiple sites within the UK and Europe. The Sales and Commercial Director will be the lead on all commercial activity for the business and this will include high level strategic planning, bids and tenders as well as the Key Account leadership, all with a mind towards the achievement of key revenue and business growth targets.

The ideal individual will be a proven senior international sales professional with a strong knowledge of the bespoke interiors / furniture / custom design and manufacture environment who is a true leader of people and who can drive the commercial team to deliver against target while being the figurehead of the brand and the products to the distinguished customer base. This role requires real gravitas, a desire to please and meet high expectations of a demanding clientele and who is able to commit to travel when are where required on a regular basis. An eye for detail and an amiable character will be key to building those relationships and delivering on high value projects.

The role carries with it a senior level position reporting to the board and excellent career development opportunity for the right person who has the passion and drive to deliver against target and generate revenue.
