Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a luxury travel brand, based in Staffordshire to recruit for a Direct Mail Marketing Manager on a permanent, full time basis.

Job title: Direct Mail Marketing Manager

Location: Burton Upon Trent

Salary: £50-£60,000

WFH Policy: 2-3 days a week in the office

Start date: May - July 2023

Contract: Full time, permanent

The role:

You will be supporting the Head of Database Marketing to deliver on all Direct Mail Marketing activity. You will be line managing one executive within the team and working with a wider team of 20 to plan and deliver integrated CRM campaigns. This role will see you growing conversion rates of customers curated through the businesses database.

Key requirements:

  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Database Marketing and CRM Manager to develop and implement an overall CRM plan for existing an prospective customers.
  • Have hands on management of the direct mailing plan for the business.
  • Develop a proactive and data driven direct mailing plan that meets the overall commercial objectives of the business
  • Work cross functionally with the product, commercial and brand teams to ensure that the activity delivered is in line with business objectives and messaging
  • Work closely with the Insight Team to deliver targeted mailing selections
  • Work with the Insight Team to set success metrics for mailing focusing on conversion and revenue using analytics
  • Measure and report on all direct mail activity to ensure objectives are being met
  • Managing agency relationship and workload
  • Complete competitor analysis
  • Line manage one Assistant Marketing Manager

Candidate criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with commercial experience
  • Proven results in direct mail campaigns
  • Previous experience in leading on the development and implementation of direct mailing campaigns
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytically minded
  • Able to work well in a fast paced environment
  • Able to work well to deadlines
  • Good knowledge of print production
