Digital Optimisation Manager

As the Digital Optimisation Manager you'll be at the forefront of change within the digital offering, owning and executing the AB/MVT program which will become the rocketfuel for delivering the digital strategy. You will take the lead on seeking out new UX opportunities through consumer research and analysis, building out a backlog of hypotheses and prioritising the build of new tests. In this role you will become the custodian for consumer needs, utilising this knowledge to rapidly improve the user experience and deliver against the agreed goal conversions.

What you will be doing

Key responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the digital optimisation program
  • Define and prioritise the backlog of hypotheses for testing
  • Manage the design and build of all onsite tests, working with the UX Design and Development teams
  • Ensure QA processes are in place to reduce live issues
  • Report and present findings from the optimisation activities on a regular basis, helping to share the insights to encourage a UCD approach across the teams
  • Work with the wider digital teams to support trading plans, test new features and build new perosnalised journeys
  • Collaborate with the digital analyst's to pinpoint areas of opportunity
  • Perform user research to challenge and support the roadmap of activity
  • Co-ordinate the build of winning tests with the product team

Experience & qualifications

  • Previous experience in the management and execution of an optimisation/CRO program
  • Understanding of ecommerce and retail consumer behaviours
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver significant improvements within digital experience
  • Excellent coordination and team management skills
  • Ability to build detailed requirements using qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience using a range of MVT/ Personalisation tools
  • Experience of UX analysis tools such as Usabilla, SessionCam, Hotjar
  • Fantastic presentation skills and the ability to produce regular engaging updates
