Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a large automotive manufacturer to recruit for a Data Analyst to join the team on a fixed term basis.

Job title: Data Analyst

Location: Coventry office - minimal time in office so candidates further afield are encouraged to apply

Contract: 12 months

Salary: Annual equivalent - £29,000 - day rate

Start date: ASAP

WFH: WFH predominantly

The role:

To provide insights and actions through knowledge of SQL, databases & insights tools as well as integrating customer data from multiple sources.

The data and insights will be supporting the below areas:

Media, Brand Websites, Ecommerce, CRM, Lead Management, Social Media and Sales.

Key requirements:

  • YOY improvements in customer acquisition and retention across new vehicle, aftersales and connected services sales.
  • Increase in lead generation, configurations and lead conversion rates and reduction in cost per sales (on media spend)
  • Enhancements in customer engagement, loyalty and advocacy across marketing campaigns through improved customer segmentation, targeting and personalisation
  • Hands-on working with customer data and creation of reports
  • Support development of customer data analytics and actionable insights
  • Deliver insights through consolidation of customer data across CRM, brand apps, connected services, media, brand websites, ecommerce, leads, aftersales and retailers
  • Develop and improve data models including those for acquisition, churn-reduction, win-back
  • Support Head of Customer Data & BI in performing role
  • Day to day interaction with data agency

Candidate criteria:

  • Applying quantitative methods to real-world problems, test-and-learn methodologies
  • Technical skills in SQL, MySQL, AWS (or other cloud data platform), BI tooling, Web analytics tools, Database and ETL concepts, Data Science programming (Python, R, SQL)
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and modern data-processing frameworks would be preferable. Google Cloud
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to explain complex ideas and deliver clear actions and its impact
  • Good understanding of Marketing Channels
