Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently working within a key client in the Financial Services sector and supporting them with their search for a Customer Services Advisor. This is a full-time permanent role based within their Birmingham Offices.
Do work that matters
Working as part of the Customer Operations Team & reporting in to the Customer Services Manager, you will meet all your customer's financial needs undertaking a wide variety of administrative duties, to continue to improve the business's operational effectiveness whilst ensuring you adhere to the bank's policies and procedures in line with corporate governance and regulatory requirements. This role is telephony based, on an inbound call basis. You will be expected to handle on average 70 calls daily.

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to ask the right questions and find the right solutions, to act with integrity and place the customer at the centre of everything you do. You will need to bring your passion for service excellence and, whilst being comfortable working independently, you will also be able to refer our customers to other specialist team members to better serve their needs.
You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a busy, commercial and driven banking environment either via telephone or previous experience in branch, whilst seeing the big picture for customers and providing them with holistic solutions.
Most importantly you will need to have a genuine passion for the customer and for doing the right thing to ensure you are putting your customer's needs first.
