Senior Credit Controller

Temporary Ongoing

I am currently recruiting for a credit controller based on the outskirts of North Birmingham. This is an important role in the business to ensure that everything flows and dealt with correctly.

This well established manufacturing company are known for their expertise within their industry and providing a consistently high level of service.

You will be supporting and reporting into the Credit Manager to ensure an efficient debt management process.

Responsibilities

  • Account reconciliation
  • Identifying and resolving queries
  • Matching and processing invoices
  • Day to day responsibility for accurate and timely cash allocation of payments to the Sales Ledger.
  • Debt chasing
  • Credit risk management
  • Liaison with Customer Services, Commercial and other departments to prevent/resolve customer payment issues.
  • Production of cash targets and weekly debt reporting.

Skills and Experience

  • Credit control experience
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills including Excel
  • Ambitious and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets
  • Confident when dealing with people on the telephone/ in person and at all levels.

Job Offer

  • Hybrid working
  • Monday to Friday - 40 hours
  • £12.00 an hour
