You will be joining a small, committed and hardworking finance team, reporting directly into the Credit Manager. The role is based in North Worcester so you will need your own transport to get there.

The Role

This will be a challenging role taking ownership of your own ledger for Credit Control.

If you enjoy developing relationships with your clients this could be the role for you. You will have exceptional customer service skills and be someone who is happy to hit the ground running, managing a portfolio of clients and be used to working in a deadline driven environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for your own Contracts ledger, from invoice to payment.
• Ensure Customers pay within their agreed payment terms
• Chasing payments when necessary.
• Using Excel, prepare and send out monthly Payment Applications.
• Allocate and reconcile payments to the Sales Ledger.
• Send out Invoices and Statements in a timely manner.
• Assist customers in dealing with invoice and account queries.
• Maintain accurate and detailed notes in relation to all customer interactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with all customers by providing an efficient service.

Skills and experience

• Credit control experience
• Strong it skills including excel
• Confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to achieve and exceed kpi's
• Ambitious and self-motivated.
