Gleeson Finance are delighted to be working with this Global, well known brand, to recruit a Credit Controller, based in the Warwick Head office. Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will be responsible for minimising risk and ensuring payment is received in line with agreed settlement terms, reducing and maintaining the amount of past due debt to the levels set by the Credit Manager.
This is an all round credit role, so as well as debt collection, you will account manage various clients from start to finish, including Sales Ledger, controlling and managing the past due levels on the ledger assigned to you. You will identify queries on the customer's accounts and pass the query to the relevant department. Once queries have been resolved, to re-contact the customer to ensure the payment is made.
Other duties include setting, monitoring and maintaining the Credit Limit for customers (with managerial approval), open new accounts, reconcile and report on accounts on a monthly basis, and negotiating payment terms.
