Are you a Cost Manager looking for the next step in your career? Do you have the desire to work client-side for a global hospitality business? Do you want a role that involves delivery, strategy and management?

Our client is a global restaurant franchise operator who are seeking a Cost Manager to join their property team. They have a progressive, professional and collaborative culture and have seen huge success over the last few years.

This is an exciting remote based opportunity to manage projects for leading brands within the fast-food industry and work for a business continuing to grow. From next year onward they will be looking at completing around 40 remodelling and 20 new build sites per year consisting of both high-street and drive-thru sties, mainly situated in the North of the UK but also some in the South.

As Cost Manager, you will take responsibility for managing newbuilds and refurbishments of existing sites across the UK. As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate successful delivery of projects within the food & beverage industry.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Managing and tracking project performance and timescales
  • Managing the procurement and tender process for new and existing suppliers
  • Cost modelling and reporting
  • Benchmarking
  • Value Engineering
  • Setting and advising on budgets
  • Monitoring developments against planned expenditure
  • Preparing contractual documentation
  • Controlling cost during the construction process
  • Managing the Project Managers as well as acting as Project Manager from time-to-time

You will be able to show that you can fully manage projects from cradle-to-grave through internal and external support and be able to manage the various suppliers, internal and external stakeholders that you will encounter on a day-to-day basis. You will be someone who is able to get "stuck in" at ground level but is also highly effective at board level or senior dignitaries.

On offer to the successful candidate is a highly competitive basic salary of £60-70,000 plus a company car or car allowance (£6,000), bonus and a long list of benefits.
