As a SeniorTax Manager for this group of companies, your main responsibility is to supervise and review all functions in relation to Corporation Tax compliance. This includes preparing and submitting entity and group-wide annual filings alongside the other Tax Manager.s You will also support the Director of Tax on internal advisory work and co-manage the team alongside the other Managers and Director of Tax.

To ensure timely submission of all returns, you project manage the CT compliance process. You review partnership and corporation tax returns prepared by team members and prepare some more complex tax returns directly. Additionally, you review entity and consolidated financial statements and related tax disclosures.

You are also responsible for reviewing/ preparing group relief matrix, REIT financial statements, reviewing PID tax deductions, and reviewing Forms R185. You prepare and review calculations for returns under the corporate interest restriction legislation, and liaise with external advisors. There will also be management and review of transfer pricing calculations for the returns.

To keep shareholders informed, you prepare and review schedules for quarterly reporting, including capital allowances and losses, and ongoing tax risks. Manage tax elements of the audit process and SAO compliance and associated matters. As well as review quarterly tax forecasts and manage tax payments alongside PID requirements.

Other tax returns that you prepare and review include SDLT returns, ATED, and others as necessary. Key to your role will be to develop close working relationships with other departments, in particular Treasury, Legal, and Accounts. Finally, you keep up to date technically by attending courses as appropriate.
