You have the opportunity to join a specialist contractor that designs, installs and maintains telecom networks in the central UK region. The government has set a target for the UK to be completely 5G and full fibre connected by 2025. The country's need for this "Critical National Infrastructure", which will cost around £30bln, has never been better demonstrated than during this current pandemic.
You have the opportunity to join this growing specialist telecoms contractor as Contracts Director with the opportunity for progression and growth in your career as our clients business grows. Based in the Cambridge / Central UK region your initial focus will be on managing their customer and operations to ensure successful delivery of the contract.
In order to do this effectively the Contracts Director will have a proven track record in leading CAPEX framework programmes (ideally within telecoms) with strong programme management skills.
You will more than likely have Tier 2 contractor experience and be technically competent within the telecoms (ideally fibre) arena and posses strong programme management skills as you will have overall accountability for framework commercials, handover milestones, quality outputs and all to be delivered safely.
The Contracts Director will be someone who is able to communicate effectively at every level and be highly effective in what is a client-facing role. Experience of asset management/ workflow management/ GIS systems such as Bentley, GeoPal or QGis is required.
