Gleeson Finance are delighted to be working with this Construction business in Warwickshire, to recruit a permanent Financial Controller. You will oversee the production of monthly management accounts, business plans and forecasts, and take full ownership of the year end statutory accounts, preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
Key responsibilities include, cash flow management, overseeing the payroll function to include pensions, benefits and expenses. You will oversee the plant and vehicle function from a costing and purchase record perspective, contract costing and monthly CIS return.
You will streamline processes, and implement and review financial controls, providing support on continuous improvement projects surrounding systems and controls infrastructure.
In order to be considered for the role, you will be a qualified accountant with a minimum 2-3 years post qualification experience gained within the construction industry. You will have a working knowledge of taxation, to include CIS, NI/PAYE and construction related VAT, together with Employment Law. You will have managed and developed teams, and be available immediately or at very short notice.
In return, you will receive a salary of circa £60,000 plus a car, pension scheme, flexible working, and other benefits.
