Gleeson Recruitment Group have partnered with a growing Midlands based financial services business who are looking for a Communication and Engagement Officer. This role will be the heart of the company and will work closely with the HR and Marketing team.

This is a brand-new role which will focus on developing their culture of two-way, open communication channels and achieving greater engagement, whilst giving the company's people a sense of belonging.

The Role:

  • Develop and implement am engaging internal communications strategy that will support key business projects.
  • Create engaging content in line with company culture and values.
  • Identifying new channels which will support internal communication projects that will engage the wider business.
  • Managing and implementing a Society engagement calendar to ensure all activities enable their people to feel a sense of belonging and have a lot of fun across the year.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders around the Society, ensuring that the messages from employees are shared.
  • Producing engaging and creative content, whilst taking into account the audience you are targeting for each communication piece.
  • Working closely with their Marketing Team, you will be organising and encouraging their teams to support the local communities around their offices through volunteering, fund-raising and supporting local initiatives to help them achieve their strategic vision of redefining mutuality.
  • Monitor and review the engagement success of each communications initiative, and feedback to key stakeholders.

The right candidate for this role will be someone who is proactive and curious in nature, who is always looking at ways where the company can improve their employee's lives through the work they do.
