Our client is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Litigator to join their team. They are a specialist law firm committed to improving lives, communities, and society. As a Commercial Litigator, you will work across their specialist sectors, advising and dealing with a range of litigation matters, including court proceedings, arbitrations, and expert determinations. You will have your own case load, which will include high-value/complex litigation and require minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will work within the Commercial Litigation Team across the entire litigation process, including specialist court divisions such as The Business and Property Courts and the Circuit Commercial Court. You will have the opportunity to be involved in sector meetings and assist with business development, seminars, and presentations. In addition, you will enjoy supervising more junior members of the team and, in time, have the opportunity to line manage colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have around 4 years+ PQE and sound experience of dealing with a variety of litigation matters, including mediation. You will be able to hold a client's confidence and advise in relation to strategy, quantum, and merits relating to any claim. Experience in judicial review, defamation claims, social media/reputation related matters, and data protection disputes would be welcome.
