Gleeson Recruitment Group are on the lookout for talented Finance Analysts to join a manufacturing giant based in the centre of Birmingham. Depending on experience the Finance Analyst can expect a salary up to £35,000 per annum.

The primary purpose of the role is to analyse large volumes of complex data, identifying anomalies and trends, and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business. The Finance Analyst will act as a Business Partner, taking full ownership of key client accounts.

You will be working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager, assisting with planning and forecasting and looking at historic data.

The company are operate a culture of trust, due to reporting deadlines and timescales, you will be required in the office only 2 x days per week, ideally Monday/ Tuesday, working the remainder of the week from home.

Finance Analyst Duties:

• Provide data on KPIs, margin, direct costs
• Learn and have a consistent insight on performance regarding sales and accounts
• Design multiple reports which outline management information on operational efficiency and overall performance of the business
• Implement processes and infrastructure to deliver information efficiently and effectively
• Create analytical and predictive models
• Assist in the creation of reports for important business meetings where necessary

• Show a willingness to learn

Essential skill requirements:

• Need to have worked within an analytical role
• Previous experience working in finance within the manufacturing industry (desirable) / complex reporting
• Working toward completing ACCA/ CIMA
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
