Are you an ambitious part-qualified accountant, looking for exceptional development in a Finance Analyst role? Do you have a passion for analysing processes and providing insight into pricing data?

I am partnered with a global manufacturer looking to add a Commercial Finance Analyst into their successful Finance team. This is a key role; you will work closely with the Sales team and support the implementation of price changes throughout the business. You must have commercial experience and be confident in driving process improvements to create value and commercial excellence. This role is based in Kettering on a hybrid basis, offering a salary of up to £35,000 PA, outstanding benefits, and endless opportunity to develop your career!

The successful Commercial Finance Analyst will assist in the creation of pricing structures through in-depth analysis, focused on costs, variables & price trackers. You will work with various systems, so excellent systems skills (specifically Excel) are essential. Experience within financial forecasting, budgeting, and working on business growth opportunities is vital and you must be able to communicate your findings with both financial and non-financial departments within the business.

This role will also see you preparing Margin Over Variable Cost (MOVC) reports, monitoring Commercial Excellence trackers, consolidating Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) data, along with various analysis of trends to support delivery of capital targets.

About the successful Commercial Finance Analyst:

  • Knowledge of financial management is essential, along with an understanding of commercial processes
  • SQL experience would be beneficial
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment and working to strict deadlines to ensure projects are delivered within time-frames
  • Strong communication skills: you must be able to engage both financial and non-financial departments when presenting your data
