Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a national manufacturing and supply chain business, who are seeking an enthusiastic Commercial Business Consultant to join their Commercial Department. Reporting directly to the Commercial Sales Manager, you will take the responsibility to drive the regional sales performance within the Midlands and North East Regions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Identify existing and potential opportunities within the industry sector
  • Manage existing partner relationships; ensuring accounts have commercial agreements in place to meet SLAs in line with the business tender process, providing up to date pricing, product information and collateral
  • Secure and manage all areas of sales and after-sales processes, achieving quarterly and yearly targets; monitoring results against targets and providing necessary feedback
  • Actively sell all products and services to articulate the long term benefits, using promotions and marketing aid to increase sales activity, proactively suggesting promotions and incentives to justify increased revenue opportunities
  • Understand competitive market
  • Maintain and track all sales based activities via central CRM system
  • Organising, hosting and presenting at exhibitions to deliver current and new product offerings to your clients

Key Requirements:

  • Previous sales and account management experience, preferably within the automotive and manufacturing sector
  • Strong IT skills, using MOS Suite and CRM Systems
  • Effective communicator; be able to build key internal and external relationships, confident presenter
  • Flexible to travel within your assigned demographic, must hold a full-clean UK driving license
  • To have the ability to prioritise work and be able to work effectively under pressure
  • Take accountability of the process, highly motivated and a "can do" attitude
