We are looking for someone with significant experience of Programming and Proving out (mostly offline) using PCDMIS, conducting First-off inspection of manufactured components using Handheld and CMM techniques, writing up reports on any areas of concern and raising NCRs.

You will be expected to work as part of the team, problem solving issues and delivering continuous improvement activities. Communication is essential both within the Quality team and the wider Production department to facilitate improvements and the resolution non-conformances.

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience programming CMM Machines (using PCDMIS 2017 or more recent) including programming complex parts such as engine components (or equivalent)
  • Show competence in using CAD modelling via CATIA and a strong understanding of Engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Experience within CNC Machining environment, ideally Engine Manufacturing
  • Use of Hard Gauging manual inspection equipment
  • Knowledge of First Principles Manual Inspection
  • Experience of containment action, corrective actions and route cause analysis

Combined with this experience, it is essential that you possess:

  • A logical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience of managing projects
  • Knowledge and experience of working to AS9100 & ISO9001 Standards

Ideal candidates will also have had exposure to / experience of:

  • Metrology
  • 3D Scanners / Romer Arm
  • IPI visual FAIR
