A sub £50m t/o Manufacturing and Distribution firm based in Oldbury, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their Business on a permanent basis. Reporting in to the Managing Director, this position will pay a salary in the range of £70,000 to £85,000 + car + pension, PHC and bonus. We encourage applications from experienced Financial Controllers ready to step up to a No.1 in Finance position.

This organisation is in a period of significant change and there is a genuine career opportunity for a talented individual to join the Business at time where they expect to grow significantly. Managing a team of 6, the Finance Director will be responsible for preparing information on the financial results and direction of the Business, and undertaking analysis to help with strategic financial planning. There will also be a significant operational focus with the need to understand the business drivers. For that reason, we are looking for someone with business partnering skills. The role would also include the possibility of supporting due diligence and providing key assistance with planned acquisitions. The position will have responsibility for leading a Finance team, so strong man management is important.

Required Experience

- Qualified ACA / ACCA (essential); with significant post-qualification experience in Operational Finance positions, ideally in the Distribution / Steel / Engineering / Manufacturing industry.

- Significant prior experience of an Operational Financial Controller position
