Are you an experienced procurement professional with experience with experience of procuring FM? Do you fancy the challenge of joining a growing, market leading organisation that views procurement as an integral and important part of its offering? A well known Midlands based organisation are in the process of strengthening their procurement function through the introduction of a new Category Manager.
Based in the Birmingham you will be joining a business that truly value procurement. You will be responsible for maximising the value of procurement and, l will be part of a centralised team. Your focus will be on Hard FM services.
As Category Manager you will engage with suppliers, identify opportunities to deliver savings through a category management approach, report the savings, work with the operational procurement team so that they can implement category deals, drive and design category strategy, set up framework agreements and contracts.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience within a category management role
- MCIPS qualified or working towards
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience of procuring Hard FM services
In return the successful Category Manager will receive a remuneration package that includes a base salary of up to £50,000 - £55,000 + car and competitive benefits.
