Are you a Category Manager with a strong track record of delivering savings? Are you skilled at driving down costs and maintaining strong supplier relationships? Have you focused on FM or IT procurement? If so please read on as this role could be perfect for you.
Based in Birmingham, this is a growing organisation where there is genuine opportunity for career progression and development. This organisation operate with a mix of home and office working.
As Category Manager, you will focus on meeting savings targets, negotiating with suppliers and establishing and developing strong relationships with stakeholders. You will develop and maintain category strategies plans for new opportunities and develop suppliers.
The role will focus on spend areas that include FM and IT, therefore you will have a strong track record in delivering in these areas.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- A strong track record of delivering cost savings
- Experience of FM or IT Procurement
- Excellent communications skills
- The ability to work collaboratively
- An ambitious and self starting attitude
- MCIPS is desirable
In return, you will receive a salary of circa £55,000 to £60,000 depending on experience and excellent benefits. If you meet the above criteria, please do not hesitate to apply!
