As the demand for online retail is ever increasing, my client is truly at the forefront of this and offers products in all things technology from computers to gaming consoles. If you have a keen interest in all things tech and have E-commerce experience, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
My client are looking for a Buyer for their Consumer Computing category who will be responsible for the Profit and Loss of key brands or categories and managing key vendor relationships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising the revenue and profit for category through negotiation via suppliers and manufacturers, buying, pricing, promotion, merchandising, marketing, stock management and competitor analysis.
This will be an opportunity for someone who has strong supplier engagement along with commercial awareness and has E-commerce experience.
Experience in purchasing technology products is not necessarily essential, however having a keen interest in this would certainly be beneficial and could offer the chance to oversee the products you have a passion in on a day to day basis.
- Responsible for revenue and margin for the category against monthly targets.
- Ensure the categories are striving for a market leading range.
- Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure best range, cost, supply and delivery.
- Maintain awareness of market activity to ensure the category is performing.
