Key responsibilities of a Cashier based in Birmingham, City Centre.

  • Process direct debits
  • Support the closing of month end
  • Produce ad-hoc reports
  • Review bank rec provided by the accounting team
  • Allocate cash receipts across various systems
  • Process cheques
  • Produce daily cash reports
  • Process card payments
  • Dealing with allocation queries and transfers
  • Minimise unallocated cash

The ideal Cashier candidate will include:

  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible & Proactive with and eagerness to learn

  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines
