Business Development Executive

Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnered with a national and market leading law firm to recruit a Business Development Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to join their newly developed Business Development Sector of Excellent Hub as part of a new project to provide sales expertise and support overall business growth.

This is a fantastic and autonomous role that is fully remote and will allow you to develop the business in a way that serves you. This role is centred in offering outstanding client service, seeking out new opportunities and both building and supporting the overall strategic growth and development plan of the business.


The role of the Business Development Executive is as follows:

  • Collaboratively work alongside other BDE's in the hub to drive opportunities in each specific market
  • Deliver planned activity including partnerships, events, and sponsorships
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the business's services and products, and be able to promote them externally
  • Develop BD plans that are delivered across the wider business
  • Support with events- identify relevant clients / arrange external speakers / support with 'pre-briefs' and post event follow up activity
  • Identify prospective sales, collate a pipeline, and build a business plan
  • Support the Bids and Acquisitions team on content development for business pitches
  • Utilise available data to identify trends and capitalise on market reports
  • Build personal profile and actively be out in the market attending meetings, engagements and alternative opportunities

The Business Development Executive will:

  • Have demonstrable experience within a BD / sales environment
  • Be able to anticipate and build on opportunities
  • Work towards a high personal standard
  • Interpret data and make decisions effectively
  • Be able to work collaboratively with other BDE's and support their BDM
  • Have the highest standard of client care
  • Strong communication skills
