Are you an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk with an exceptional eye for detail? Do you want to work in a fun and supportive environment?

I am supporting a SME based in Kidderminster, looking to recruit an experienced Billing Coordinator on a permanent basis, reporting into the Sales Ledger/ Billing Manager, the successful applicant can expect a salary between £20,000 - £23,000 depending on experience.

The Billing Coordinator will work in a team to ensure all revenue is invoiced and processed in accordance with business policy and procedures.

Billing Coordinator duties:

  • Raise sales invoices and credits within agreed company SLA
  • Ensure approval has been received before raising credits
  • Ensure all revenue fees are secured via appropriate funding approvals from budget holders before invoicing
  • Daily, weekly, monthly bank reconciliations
  • Resolve queries, and escalate appropriately
  • Implement and improve processes to streamline the day to day tasks as well as providing group consolidated billing information
  • Support the Accounts Receivable and Billing Manager
  • Support the credit control team with resolution of queries to maximise cashflow
  • Assist with any ad hoc tasks / reporting necessary
  • Highlight areas for improvements in relation to processes and systems and support testing of new processes and systems ensuring risk to revenue is minimal

Skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience of working within a sales ledger team/billing department
  • Bank reconciliation experience
  • Competent IT skills, including intermediate Excel (essential) eg. Lookups, formulas, ledger/account reconciliations
  • High level of numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail (essential)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work well under pressure to tight timelines and have really good time management skills
  • Experience of using Sage 200 knowledge (preferable)
