My client is a large social care business that specialises in focused support for people with mental health needs, learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries.

Due to their continued growth both organically and by acquisition a new role has been created of a Bid Writer / Tender Assistant to support the existing Business Development Manager in identifying, managing, writing and winning new contracts in order to help the business keep on growing.

Day to day you will be responsible for coordinating input from a variety of internal stakeholders in order to pull together the required information for tenders. You will ensure that all proposal documents follow standard formatting and meet quality standards. You'll maintain tender libraries, attend kick off meetings and review meetings and generally support in all other areas relating to each new tender up to the point it is won.

In order to make a success of the role you will have a proven track record of planning, producing and delivering tender documents in a complex business environment. You will be a strong communicator and have excellent project management skills as you will be juggling many priorities in a busy environment and working with many stakeholders.

Ideally the successful candidate will have some knowledge or experience of the sector such as having worked in social care, commissioning authorities, social services or local authorities.
