My client, a leading consumer durable business, are looking to recruit an Assistant Product Manager into to their growing team, the role will focus on supporting the Senior Product Manager to define the product portfolio and road map. This role focus' on various aspects throughout the full product life cyle, including competitor research, identifying gaps in the market and working alongside the product development team to bring the product to life.

This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for all things product and is looking to specialise in product management next. You will be analytical, creative, with the ability to grasp technical products.

The role:

  • Support the Senior Product Manager with managing a products life cyle, cradle to grave (concept, NPD, pricing, phase in/out).
  • Conducting regular competitor research to identify key areas for opportunity and growth. Putting together proposals for new products based on insights.
  • Working closely with the marketing and sales team, ensuring the effective launch of new products.
  • Reporting on sales of new and existing products, identifying which products to 'push' and products to phase out.

The Candidate:

  • You don't need years of product management experience for this role, my client is willing to provide training to individual who is passionate about product and eager to progress a career in the field of Product Management.
  • A previous role in Marketing would be advantageous.
  • Creative, analytical and results driven.
  • Attention to detail and great communication skills.
