We're excited to be partnered with a leading toy, sport and leisure company who have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Product Manager to join their team! You'll be responsible for developing new and affiliated products from concept to launch.

The Assistant Product Manager will also brand manage designated ranges within the company's existing product portfolio. If you're looking for your next challenge and want to utilise your creative skills in your next role - keep reading!

The Assistant Product Manager:

  • Collaborate with the in-house design team to create new product and packaging concepts
  • Create detailed specifications for new products
  • Liaise closely with manufacturers to ensure new products are created to the correct cost, time and specification
  • Undertake cost analyses for new products
  • Provide product information to retailers in terms of physical dimensions, weights etc
  • Liaise with licensing houses where necessary
  • Oversee visual and written content creation for use on in house and customer websites
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure new products are correctly represented in catalogues and flyers
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the company's competition and activity at retail

The Successful Candidate:

  • A confident self-starter with a passion for product development
  • A detail oriented and highly organised approach to projects
  • Strong creative thinking skills as well as commercial awareness
  • Sound strategic awareness and a great communicator
  • Desirable: Interest in sports (i.e., football) and stunt products (i.e. scooters) along with technical knowledge
  • Advantageous: Experience in buying, sourcing, retailing and developing sports or relevant products
